Big Sean – Moves (Prod. By 808 Mafia)

Big Sean just announced a new album and dropped some new music as he gears up for 2017.

The Detroit rapper unveiled the cover art for his new album I Decided and backed it up with the 808 Mafia-produced track “Moves.” Here we have Sean sounding nimble as ever as he continues to spit his personal brand of self-motivational rap.

The album, which is set to drop on February 3, will also be coming with package bundles. Autographed copies of the album are available for $10.99, but you have to act fast as only 1,000 are available. There is also a package that includes a hat, hoodie, t-shirt for $100.00. Big Sean also dropped some new merch and album bundles. You can cop an autographed album for just $ 10.99, though they are limited to 1,000. You can also grab the “mega bundle,” which includes a hat, a hooded pullover sweater, an embroidered album white tee, and the album itself, for a cool $100.00. All of that is available at Big Sean’s website.

21 Savage- 100

21 Savage unleashes a new track called “100,” a booming trap anthem featuring nothing but hard lyrics.
“Choppa on me hold 100/Pull up on ya nigga gunnin’/Pull up on ya niggas runnin’/Pull up on ya get to clappin’/Slaughter Gang known for whackin’/Slaughter Gang known for trappin,’” the 2016 XXL Freshman spits on the first verse. “I’m 21 Savage I play with them sticks/21 Savage I play with them bricks/21 Savage I play with ya bitch.”
In other 21 Savage-related news, the rising Slaughter Gang star cracked XXL‘s 50 Best Projects of 2016 list. He also teamed up with Lil Bibby for a new song called “Squad” earlier in December.
And, fans of 21 will be pleased to know he has new music with Young Thug coming out soon. The song is presumably called “Issa Hit,” alluding to the amazing viral video of 21 talking about his trademark forehead tattoo of a knife.
It seems like 21 has been everywhere lately. He recently linked with Chi-town’s Lil Durk for a new track called “Shooter2x,” and he also hopped on the track “I Be On” with Compton’s YG. It also appears that a Savage Mode 2 mixtape with Metro Boomin might be on the way, which is fantastic news for fans of the rising ATL superstar.
Additionally, 21 recently popped up alongside Blac Youngsta in Shy Glizzy’s “Out the Block” video, and he dropped his biggest collaboration to date when he put out “Sneakin” with Drake. He also has a guest feature on DC4 with Drizzy’s rival, Meek Mill, for the track “Offended.”

21 Savage- X  ft. Future (Prod. By Metro Boomin’) *Video*

The FADER Cover Star 21 Savage is closing out 2016 strong. Earlier this week, the Atlanta rapper dropped a throw-away called “100.” Today, as a Christmas present to his fans, 21 unveiled the official video for “X,” the Savage Mode single that went platinum earlier this year. In the clip, 21 Savage and his friends Metro Boomin and Future dance around a huge mansion dripping in furs and chains, showing off their wealth. Why? They’re just stuntin’ on their ex-bitch. Check it out above!

Russ- Ain’t Nobody Takin’ My Baby

Fast-rising ATL artist, Russ, has had himself a monster 2016, going from Soundcloud sensation to well-respected artist in a matter of months. Looking to keep the momentum rolling straight into 2017, the ATL artist decides to come through today and share a new song on his soundcloud page called “Aint Nobody Takin My Baby.”

Produced by the man himself, Russ delivers a clap-heavy, slow tempo record that finds him reflecting on his relationship with his girlfriend, and letting everyone know that “nobody is taking his baby”. It follows up his latest release “Fallin Too.” Hit play and let us know what you think!

Young Thug & 21 Savage – Petty (Preview) Yikes!!

Young Thug and 21 Savage are currently on tour together, and they seem to be recording all along the way. After sharing a couple of snippets already, Thug has shared a much longer preview of a new track with 21 on his Instagram today, and it’s sounding like it should satisfy fans of both rappers.

Thug raps along to both he and 21’s verse, matching Savage’s energy on the track, and slowing things down a little. Much like his previous Mannequin Challenge preview, Thugger is about to hop on a plane as he shares the new material. The song is actually a more full version of the snippet Thug previously shared where 21 may or may not say “Issa Kylie, might be Jenner,” riffing on his immortal “issa knife” quote throughout his verse.
Thug captioned the track “Petty.” Could that be the title?

J. Cole- Everybody Dies

J. Cole’s “Everybody Dies” and “False Prophets” are now available on iTunes and streaming platforms. “Everybody Dies” is a jeremiad against all the types of rappers Cole hates — “especially these amateur eight week rappers, Lil’ whatever—just another short bus rapper.” Neither Lil Yachty nor Lil Uzi Vert seemed particularly phased by this slight.

Lupe Fiasco- N.E.R.D

Lupe Fiasco takes inspiration from J. Cole, but is he also firing shots his way?
On Monday (Dec. 12), Carrera Lu’ unleashed his “N.E.R.D.” freestyle over Cole’s “Everybody Dies” instrumental.

Prior to dropping the track, Lupe shared several Kermit the Frog memes about his current “mood.” The post has hooded Kermit saying things like “Just take all his album instrumentals & renegade him” and “Renegade that ni**a album.”

Those memes were likely references to when Nas claimed Eminem “murdered” Jay Z on “Renegade” back when Esco and Hov were beefing. Thus, the use of Cole’s production could be a sign of future jabs at Jermaine.

Russ- Fallin’ Too

Russ is one rap’s best success stories of the year, but stardom hasn’t been all milk and honey. A part of him misses the simpler days when he lived in his parents’ basement. Mo money mo problems.

The Atlanta rapper/singer/producer touches on the ways in which his life-changing 2016 has affected his relationship with his parents in his new song “Fallin Too.” With money flowing in, Russ opens up about his attempt to navigate his family dynamic as the music industry tries to change him.

Keep your eye on Russ in 2017.

Chief Keef- So Tree & Bull Dog

Two new Chief Keef songs leaked onto the web. “Bull Dog” featuring Tadoe and “So Tree” are both fantastic singles that appear to be off Keef’s upcoming project titled Two Zero One Seven, which is due out Jan. 1.
One thing that is instantly noticeable is the lack of heavy auto-tone used on Keef’s voice. You can hear every word he raps and it sounds way more crisp that his previous records.
Earlier this week, Sosa announced via Instagram that he’s releasing his first official project in over a year. In 2015, the Chicago native dropped Bang 3 part one and two as well as mixtapes like Nobody Part II, Finally Rollin 2, Sorry for the Weight and Almighty DP. Camp GloTiggy, a full-length project produced entirely by Zaytoven, was leaked this past May.

It’s been over a year since we got a new official project, but on Monday (Dec. 12) the Chicago rapper posted cover art to Instagram for a new project called Two Zero One Seven. In the caption, he provided a release date of Jan. 1.
2017 looks to be Keef’s comeback year. At a concert in October, Keef called out rappers who colored their hair, proclaiming Almighty Sosa is will make his return in the new year. “All these faggot ass niggas rapping today? Shaking they booties and all that gay ass shit? Until 2017, that’s how long they got … on my kids, on blood,” he said in the clip.

Wale- Heisman Watch

Wale has been on a roll. After delivering “Groundhog Day,” “Black is Gold,” and the freestyle “Folarin Like” (the latter topping the Billboard + Twitter Top Tracks chart), the D.C. rapper flexes his sports savvy for “Heisman Watch.”
“It’s like I’m on the Heisman watch/ That’s gotta be what would describe, symbolize I’ve got skill,” he spits on the hook. Folarin also name-checks a slew of athletes including basketball legend Allen Iverson and football stars Desmond Howard and Randy Moss, among others. He also shouts out Jay Z’s agency Roc Nation Sports.
