Taylor Swift, the global pop princess is Vanity Fair’s September cover star. In the new interview, she opened up about her personal life, her feud with Apple (yes, THAT tech giant), and her friendship with Kanye West.
Swift told the mag that Apple surprised the singer-songwriter by changing its policy not to compensate artists during the trial period of its new streaming service. The tech giant’s decision came on the heels of an open letter that Swift shared online with fans explaining why her latest album 1989 wouldn’t be available on the company’s new music streaming service.
“Apple treated me like I was a voice of a creative community that they actually cared about.”
